RTPI's 9th Annual Understanding the Appeals Process Conference 2009

  • There are no future dates confirmed for this event. Please contact us on 0845 833 3212. if you are interested in this event.

What is the conference about?

Two of the core areas of activity in the Planning Inspectorate are the determination of appeals and the examination of Local Development Documents. The efficient and effective discharge of casework in both of these areas places great responsibility upon all participants in those processes to work effectively and efficiently.

The Inspectorate is committed to appeal and LDF process improvements and development and to working with its stakeholders to achieve this. This conference will not only give you an insight into how to present your evidence and case effectively and appropriately (with presentations by experienced practitioners within and outside PINS) whether in written representations, at Hearings, at Inquiry or at Examinations, but will also offer the opportunity to share your suggestions for best practice with Inspectors and Senior Managers of the Inspectorate.
