RTPI Public Events

RTPI Conferences have repositioned the conferences portfolio to ensure delegates get the most out of their training. We have created four distinct categories of event within the RTPI Conferences brand.

  • Annual Planning Convention
    The RTPI's annual flagship event is the UK’s largest spatial planning event. Visit www.theplanningconvention.co.uk for further details.

  • Conferences
    Each season RTPI Conferences run a small number of conferences aimed at a higher number of delegates. The aim of these conferences is to ensure delegates are up-to-date with the changes being made to the planning profession and will provide good networking opportunities.

  • Briefings & Workshops
    New for 2012, this new format will generate a better forum for discussion between speakers and delegates. The benefit of the B&W format will be the inclusion of more participation from the delegates, however lectures from high profile speakers will still be included.

  • Masterclasses
    Masterclasses are a range of events that aim to provide an in-depth exploration of both specific technical and personal management skills which planners require on a daily basis. The trainer will bring up-to-the-minute practical experience to their subject with examples and practical exercises.
